All High School students who reside in the 2nd Congressional District are eligible to compete in the annual Congressional Art Competition. The winner of the contest receives:
· An all expense paid trip to Washington D.C.
· His or her artwork hangs in the U.S. Capitol for one year and the artwork will be framed.
Individuals who earn 2nd, 3rd or honorable mention placements will also receive great prizes!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
2008 Deadline for Entries: April 25, 2008
· Art work must arrive at Congressman Thompson's District Office by 5:00 p.m. on the due date.
· All artwork must have a signed Student Release Form securely attached.
· Each entry must be original in concept, design, and execution and may not violate any U.S. copyright laws. Any entry which has been reproduced from an existing photo, painting, or any work produced by another person is a violation of the competition rules and will not be accepted!
