Congressman Bennie Thompson Calls Upon FBI to Investigate the Disappearance of Latasha Crump Coleman

[Bolton, MS] - Congressman Bennie Thompson (D-MS), Ranking Member of the Committee on Homeland Security, has officially called upon the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to initiate an investigation into the mysterious disappearance of Latasha Coleman. Congressman Thompson was approached by Coleman's distraught family, who are deeply concerned about the possibility of the case going cold without further intervention.

Latasha Crump Coleman, a 46-year-old resident of Jackson, Mississippi, was last seen on July 18, 2023, under circumstances that remain unclear. Despite exhaustive efforts by local law enforcement, there has been no significant breakthrough in locating her whereabouts.

Expressing his deep concern for Latasha Coleman's whereabouts and the anguish her family is enduring, Congressman Thompson stated, "It is imperative that we leave no stone unturned in the search for Latasha Coleman. Her disappearance is deeply troubling, and we owe it to her family and loved ones to pursue every avenue available in our quest for answers."

Congressman Thompson emphasized the critical role of federal resources in cases of this nature, particularly when local efforts may reach an impasse.
