Congressman Bennie G. Thompson Announces $8,742,816 to Rosedale-Bolivar County Port Commission

[Washington, D.C.] –  Today, Representative Bennie G. Thompson (MS02) announced that the Department of Transportation awarded the Rosedale-Bolivar County Port Commission $8,742,816.00 for the Port of Rosedale Multi-Modal Expansion Project Phase I project.

This project will fund the relocation and reconstruction of loading conveyors in Rosedale, MS. The goal is to have the conveyors be able to handle the amount of work in which they can operate efficiently, as well as an independent platform. 

The improvements are very needed, and now they can be made.
