Congressman Bennie G. Thompson Announces More Than $295,000 in Head Start Grants for Mississippi

BOLTON, MS — Congressman Bennie Thompson announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded $295,760 in federal grants to organizations in Mississippi to support Head Start and Head Start collaboration initiatives.

These grants will help strengthen early childhood education, family engagement, and school readiness services for children and families across Mississippi.
