CONGRESSMAN BENNIE G. THOMPSON ANNOUNCES OVER $1.3 MILLION AWARDED TO THE HEIGHTS OF CLINTON

BOLTON, MISSISSIPPI – Today, United States Representative Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced The U. S. Department of Agriculture/ Rural Development has awarded a $1,347,000 loan through the Multi-Family Housing Loan Guarantees to The Heights at Clinton, an existing Section 515 family multi-family housing complex in Clinton, Mississippi.

This Rural Development investment will be used to assist in the transfer, assumption, and rehabilitation of The Heights at Clinton. The project consists of 16 one-bedroom, 20 two-bedroom, and 12 three-bedroom units. All units will go through significant rehabilitation and improve the living conditions for all current and future tenants.

The project has been awarded additional funding through USDA Rural Development Section 515 Loan: $1,444,520.00 and USDA Rural Development Section 515 Loan: $950,000.00.
