Congressman Bennie Thompson Announces $1,000 Awarded to Charleston Municipal Airport

Today, United States Representative Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration has awarded $1,000 in grant funds to the City of Charleston through the Federal Aviation Administration for the Charleston Municipal Airport.

These grants are being funded as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) of 2020. These grants provide economic relief funds for any purpose for which airport revenue may be lawfully used.
