Congressman Bennie Thompson Announces $175,000 Awarded to the Romola Water Association

Today, United States Representative Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced the U.S. Department of Agriculture/ Rural Development has awarded $78,000 in grant funds and $97,000 in a loan through the Water and Waste Disposal Loans and Grants Program to the Romola Water Association in Port Gibson, MS.

This Rural Development Investment will be used to replace 330 radio read meters and upgrade the automatic read meter system (AMR).
