Congressman Bennie Thompson Announces $215,050 Awarded to Tougaloo College

(BOLTON, MS) Today, United States Representative Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced the U.S. Department of Agriculture has approved a Rural Business Development Grant in the amount of $215,050 to Tougaloo College Research & Development.

This Rural Development investment will be used to provide training and technical assistance to disadvantaged businesses with business infrastructure, education, and revenue streams to access capital for business operations in Adams, Claiborne, Jefferson, and Wilkinson counties in Mississippi.
