Congressman Thompson Announced $7.7 Million Awarded to City of Greenville

BOLTON, MISSISSIPPI – Today, United States Representative Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced the U. S. Department of Commerce has awarded $7.7 Million in Economic Development funds to make infrastructure improvements needed to protect businesses from flooding in Greenville, Mississippi, Opportunity Zone.

“This EDA funding is a much needed investment in Greenville that will spur economic development, community stabilization and provide much needed jobs to the citizens of Greenville, MS,” said Congressman Bennie G. Thompson.
