Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. Bennie G. Thompson announced that the application period for Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 Hazard Mitigation Assistance Grants is now open. According to FEMA’s published Notices of Funding Opportunity for the Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) and Flood Mitigation Assistance Hazard Mitigation grants, there is $750 million available for BRIC grants and $600 million available for Flood Mitigation Assistance grants for FY 2024.
