Congressman Thompson Conducts Social Media Poll on Student Loan Debt Relief 

(Washington D.C.) – Today, Rep. Bennie G. Thompson released the results from a poll recently conducted by his office, which was created on July 1, 2022 and ended July 15, 2022. This poll was created to focus on student loan debt. To ensure a wide audience was reached, Twitter, Instagram, and his Facebook account were utilized to garner results.

“A poll recently conducted by my office showed overwhelming support of student loan debt relief. As we move toward the passage of a bill in Congress, I look forward to voting for Student Loan Reform. I will continue to fight for student loan forgiveness.”                                                                         

Student loans have been mounting for decades. Borrowers are mired in debt. Students are leaving college with insurmountable student loan debt before they even begin to buy a home or land their first job.
