CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19 Response to Recovery

We still have more work to do to combat and to free our country of the Coronavirus. Continue to shelter in and follow safe and healthy practices to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus. I want to continue thanking the front line health care and essential workers for staying on this battlefield to help us win the war against Coronavirus/COVID-19.

USDA has implemented steps so they can provide added additional support in the way of but not limited to extending application deadlines, provide payment assistance to voucher holder, payment deferments, allowing lenders to offer covered loans, and more to help rural residents, businesses and communities affected by COVID-19. Read the attached updated release by the agency outlining their available COVID-19 Resources under the programs below.

  • Rural Development Guaranteed Loan Program
  • Rural Housing Service (Direct Loan and Guaranteed Loan Program) for Single-Family Housing
  • Rural Housing Service (Direct Loan and Guaranteed Loan Program) for Multi-Family Housing *Tenant Vouchers
  • Rural Utilities Services
  • Rural Business-Cooperative Service
