CONGRESSMAN THOMPSON ANNOUNCES $343,065 IN DOJ FUNDING TO COMBAT DOMESTIC AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE IN MISSISSIPPI
BOLTON, MS – Congressman Bennie G. Thompson (MS-02) today announced that the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) have awarded two Mississippi organizations a combined $343,065 to support efforts addressing domestic violence and sexual assault across the state. The awards were made through the Fiscal Year 2026 State and Territory Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Coalitions Program, which supports the critical work of state and territorial domestic violence and sexual assault coalitions.
