BOLTON, MS — Today, Congressman Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced that the City of Jackson has been awarded $2,800,000 through the U. S. Department of Transportation Federal Transit Administration’s FY25 Buses & Bus Facilities Program. The grant will fund significant bus stop improvements to enhance safety, accessibility, and service reliability for transit riders across Jackson.

Thompson (D-MS), Ranking Member of the Committee on Homeland Security, released the following statement condemning President Trump’s decision to pardon Rudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows, John Eastman, Sidney Powell, and others who conspired to subvert the 2020 election.
