BOLTON, MS – Today, Congressman Bennie G. Thompson (MS-02) announced the U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded $570,950 to Copiah County Airport through the Federal Aviation Administration. The funds will be used to reseal 4,007 feet of existing runway 18/36 pavement and reconstruct 57,000 square yards of the existing main apron pavement that has reached the end of its useful life.
