Thompson is proud to announce that the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) has awarded two grants totaling $205,643 to arts initiatives in Mississippi under the ArtsHERE program. These grants, aimed at strengthening arts organizations and fostering cultural enrichment, will support projects in Natchez and Clarksdale.

Thompson is pleased to announce that the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has awarded two grants to the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (MDPS) totaling $588,054 to support critical initiatives aimed at improving the state's medical examiner system and enhancing criminal history records.

Thompson is pleased to announce that Coahoma Community College has been awarded a $400,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Office on Violence Against Women (OVW). This grant, part of the OVW Fiscal Year 2024 Grants to Reduce Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking on Campus Program, will support the college’s ongoing efforts to address and prevent these crimes on campus.
