Thompson (MS02) announces 37 counties, with farmland in Mississippi, as disaster designation areas after suffering from a drought lasting more than eight weeks. This allows Mississippi Farmers, in the primary counties, eight months to apply and be considered for the Farm Service Agency emergency loan assistance.
