Thompson (D-MS) announced The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) has awarded a Recompete Strategy Development Grant to Accelerate Mississippi Recompete Strategy in Jackson, Mississippi. The grant will be used to identify and evaluate barriers to labor force participation and occupational skills attainment in key regions and industry sectors and develop strategic implementation planning.
